After traveling with the oculus Quest case for two weeks - I can confidently say, though the design is sleek, for my needs it falls short in the functionality and practicality area. I’m hardcore VR.I travel with:• USB power bank• Extra cables• Google chrome v3 (stream for spectators)• Velcro• Extra batteries for controllers. (Rechargeable)The small Quest case from Oculus, though they tried, it just cannot keep up with my needs - no space. It’s definitely suited for the casual crowd. For us Ready Player One VR heads...ALL HAIL THE NEW REIGNING CHAMP!The Esimen OQ case (at this moment) with my on the spot review is a beast. (On the spot review because it literally just arrived into my hands not even 25 minutes ago) but my experience with the Oculus Quest case, lead me to immediately notice the strengths and was compelled to leave this write up of a on the spot review. This is important for small upcoming businesses, so I just had to write this up, before I forgot due to life obligations. So Esimen - I gotchu! Please keep getting better. This is home run, I am already knowing.Since I am doing a on the spot review, here is what I appreciate so far (I will come back if it fails anywhere)Anyway, here’s what smacked me immediately with it’s design:• ZIPPERS:Rugged big zippers with big zipper teeth, so no wimpy zip up. This is secure!• ZIPPING UP:Zips up perfectly, no missing teeth from not zipping up right, then having to redo the zip - that annoys me and what a constant theme with the oculus Quest case from oculus, because it was not designed for hardcore VR needs.• STURDY:Seems very sturdy (I still need some some weeks with it, to really know)• COMPARTMENTS:2 big compartments on the top flap that encloses the case. These compartments have more than enough space, very well thought out.• CONTROLLER COMPARTMENT:The area that houses the Quest and controllers are perfectly made for the OQ. The controller section was extremely impressive and important to me - why?Because with the official OQ case, it was a hassle trying to get the controllers to fall into the space created for them.. took a few jostles from me to get them to slot in place. Here with the Esimen Oculus Quest case, they just fall right in place, no being challenged. The controllers know - it’s home.• LENS PROTECTION:Comes with a protective microfiber pad (pillow) for your lenses. Very well thought out, was not expected. High praise here.• POWER BANK SPACE:Comfortably, fits a power-bank. I have the USB C 22000 Anker bank - it’s big, and it fits perfectly. High praise here as well. I want constant power for my headset not doable with the internal battery - nuff respect here Esimen.• LOOKS BIGGER IN PHOTOS:I was bracing myself for a airport travel case from the looks of the photos. Lol. Not that big, almost the size or about the size of two official oculus Quest cases. I’ll repeat, everything fits comfortably, no hassles. If you’re still reading, go buy it! This is it!Worst case scenario, not t for you, for whatever reason, cool -> return it for a full refund - like I’m doing tomorrow with my official oculus Quest case. All in all, I am impressed.
