This duffel is as good looking in person as it is in photos. Excellent materials including a great lining. Extremely happy with this purchase.I don't like to write a negative review for a product that does what it says it will do but I most likely will not purchase this bag a second time and it's too small for my equipment. This may look like a bag from the 80's fitness gyms, but don't assume it's old technology in the fabric. This is a well designed and made bag. The zippers are heavy duty (parachute zipper quality) and it has more than enough pockets for storage. I love the underneath compartment for my workout sneakers and sweaty clothes for after I finish.I went with the black bag and it looks beautiful. All in all great bag a lil smaller than I thought it would be but great looking and functional!Smaller than I thoughtLove this bag !This is one of those tricky products Vine occasionally sends me to review, where I’m not quite sure in which direction to lean. One the one hand this is the Rolls Royce of duffel bags. It’s made from premium materials and it was clearly constructed with care. It feels like the kind of bag that would survive the apocalypse without a scratch, and might even look a little cooler with a layer of radioactive dust and zombie blood, but at the same time it’s also surprisingly lightweight considering its build quality. This thing is packed full of semi-hidden pockets, including a great end pocket that can expand to fill most of the internal space. While it’s completely unstructured and won’t offer any meaningful protection for fragile electronics I think it would make a perfect weekender or carry-bag, and that’s probably what I’ll use it for.On the other hand... well, it’s $100, which is a lot for a duffel bag whichever way you slice it. You can look at in in absolute terms, in which case this seems unusually expensive, or you can look at it as an investment in a bag that will last for decades, in which case I guess it represents excellent value for money. At the end of the day I think I’m leaning towards the latter. I already have a dozen bags in my arsenal, half of which don’t get much day to day use, but I get the feeling this will become one of my main go-to bags for years to come. If that becomes the case, and if this bag really is as sturdy and indestructible as it seems, then the price tag will suddenly seem much more reasonable. This is a very rugged, compact duffle bag that is light-weight & easy to carry. It is just the right size for use as a weekender, and it holds quite a surprising amount of essentials. I can easily pack everything I need for several days, including several changes of clothing, accessories, and a pair of boots, as long as I wear or carry my coat (if needed). I like that this is casual and outdoorsy in appearance but I can still take it just about anywhere. I have a couple of duffle bags to compare this one to -- one is my husband's kind of fancy name-brand leather bag that really only gets used for occasional road trips & such. This bag is far more versatile, and I would have no worries about potential exposure to inclement weather. Our other duffles include a more everyday type of heavy leather bag, but it is quite large and very heavy + a very old waxed canvas bag that belonged to my father years ago (he had a job that took him out in the field for weeks and sometimes months at a time). That bag is also quite large, extremely thick and heavy even when empty. It has heavy metal zippers and hardware. In comparison, this bag is less bulky & feels almost weightless, thanks to the strong but heavy-duty YKK nylon zippers and Duraflex hardware. The Cordura fabric is tough. Of course, I wouldn't expect this bag to stand up to the same extreme conditions that my father's bag was subjected to over the years, and it isn't intended to do so. It certainly feels as if it can handle anything I would be able to dish out (week-end getaways, light camping, airplane travel). I ordered the 'silver lining' color, which is a very light tan with olive green webbing-style straps. The inside of the bag is lined with a beige fabric printed with the Outdoor Products logos and images of various types of gear. This duffle is well designed with a roomy interior and several pockets, including a space to keep shoes/boots separate from other clothing. It does seem a bit pricey for a bag that isn't expedition-grade and really isn't all that large, but it is definitely well made from high quality materials and will last for years. I'm pleased with the appearance and workmanship and think it is worth the cost (currently $100.00) and will be purchasing another one (in black, this time).
